Apply to Skyline College 

  1. Complete an Application for admission to Skyline College
  2. Complete online Orientation to learn how to get started
  3. You may need to schedule assessment to determine an English, Math, or ESOL level.

  4. Schedule a Counseling appointment to make your educational plans
  5. Register for classes on WebSMART

Apply for Financial Aid

  1. Submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or a California Dream Act Application
  2. Submit a Chafee Grant Application*
  3. Obtain copy of Foster Youth Verification Letter from the County where Foster Care Services were received
  4. Contact Brandon Gutierrez-Kitto, our Financial Aid Foster Youth Liaison (when emailing, please provide your name, Student ID (G Number), and phone number).

*If you are/were in foster care or another court ordered out of home placement between your 16th and 18th birthday and have not reached your 26th birthday as of July 1 of the award year, you may be eligible for up to $5,000 of additional grant assistance through the Chafee Grant.
