Program Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the program, Middle College students will reach the following outcomes:
Social Justice (75%)
- Middle College students will be able to identify unfairness on the individual level (e.g., biased speech) and injustice at the institutional or systemic level (e.g., discrimination).
Social Emotional (75%)
- Middle College students will develop mindfulness skills of themselves and others that appreciates diversity and conveys respect.
- Middle College students will learn to set goals that enhance their social emotional well-being and develop their leadership skills.
Academic Standing (90%)
- Middle College students will maintain good academic standing (2.0 GPA or higher) per semester.
Educational Goal Achievement (90%)
- Middle College students will graduate w/their high school diploma and minimum of 36 college units their senior year (2-year program).
- Middle College students will identify their academic and professional passions, talents, and interests, and create a plan to pursue them
