Paper Flyer Posting Information

These general posting instructions apply to all on-campus posting: 

  • All materials posted on campus must clearly indicate the group or organization sponsoring the event, activity or service being advertised.
  • All college marketing materials (flyers, postcards, screen ads, etc) must be approved by the Marketing Department by filling out a marketing request form.
  • Posting is allowed only on interior bulletin boards in common areas of campus.
  • o items may be posted on building entrance doors, on painted or varnished surfaces, in restrooms, on lampposts, on any outdoor fixtures, or on any glass surfaces.
  • Posting is not permitted in Environmental Science Building or the Farallon Room (B12).
  • No posting is allowed on the bus stop.
  • Posting of lawn signs on grass or landscaped areas is prohibited
  • Posting is not allowed in the Theatre Lobby (Building 1) or the Library (Building 5) without permission from the Administrators in charge of those areas.
  • Posting on outdoor railings or balconies is not permitted.
  • Duplicates of the same posting in the same area are subject to removal.
  • Placing flyers, leaflets, or other materials on vehicles parked in any Skyline College parking lot is prohibited.
  • Post only on the listed Bulletin Boards   (No postings on walls, doors, windows, or cars)

In addition to all general posting instructions above, the following instructions apply to all College-affiliated groups, including deparments, programs, student clubs and organizations, etc:

  • Once approved by Marketing, all postings by College-affiliated groups must have a “Date to be Removed” stamp from the Center for Student Life & Leadership Development in Building 6 before being posted.

In addition to all general posting instructions above, the following instructions apply to all non-College affiliated individuals, groups and organizations:

  • Posting in any bulletin boards inside classrooms is prohibited.

Exceptions to any of the above guidelines require the approval of the Student Life & Leadership Manager and the Administrator responsible for the specific location.
