Articulation agreements allow course credits earned at one public California college or university to be applied when transferred to another. Skyline College has articulation agreements with all of the University of California (UC) campuses, most of the California State Universities (CSU), and many private colleges and universities. Completing courses as indicated in an articulation agreement does not guarantee admissions to any college.

The most up-to-date information on articulation agreements between Skyline College and California public colleges and universities is available at ASSIST.org. This comprehensive online resource is a student-transfer information system that shows how course credits earned at one public California college or university can be applied when transferred to another. Prospective transfer students can use ASSIST.org to look up information in two ways: via specific colleges or universities, or via major.

There are more than 100 member universities that provide enriching learning environments, that promote the success of Black, African American, Indigenous, and People of Color. The member institutions can be explored and researched on the following web pages:

California Community Colleges Transfer Guarantee to HBCUs

The California Community Colleges Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) Transfer Program is the development of Transfer Guarantee Agreements that will facilitate a smooth transition for students from all of the California Community Colleges to partnered HBCUs.  These agreements will simplify the transfer process and reduce students’ need to take unnecessary courses, thereby shortening the time to degree completion with a cost saving.

HBCUs are leading institutions in awarding degrees to African-American students in the life sciences, physical sciences, mathematics and engineering programs.

The participating campuses in the agreement can be accessed via the CCC-HBCU website.

The purpose of this agreement is to ensure acceptance of prior coursework and to facilitate the transfer of CCC students who have completed a CCC Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT) to an AICCU campus. Access the full list of AICCU ADT Participating Institutions and majors accepted.
