Talisman accepts submissions of poetry, prose, and art. Any student enrolled at Skyline College is eligible to submit work for consideration. The magazine is completely designed and created by Skyline College students and is published each Spring Semester.

Submission Guidelines

Make sure your name and email are on each submission. Submissions that do not follow all guidelines will not be considered. Contributors receive two copies of Talisman.

Writing

Email submissions as a Word Document only to SkylineTalisman@my.smccd.edu or deliver as a hard copy to Professor Rob Williams in the Language Arts Division.

Poetry: Submit 1-5 Poems

Prose: 1-2 Pieces of Fiction, Nonfiction, Hybrid, or Drama. 7 Pages Maximum, Double-spaced, Times New Roman, 12 Pt. Font.

Visual Art

Email submissions to SkylineTalisman@my.smccd.edu or as a hard copy to Professor Rob Williams in the Language Arts Division.

Visual Art: 1-10 Pieces in any medium. Image resolution should be at least 300 dpi and in .jpg format. We publish full-color and black and white images. Talisman may use images for publicity purposes.

Prizes

All submissions will be considered for Prizes.
