Standing Committees

The Curriculum Committee carries on regular review of the entire College curriculum; considers for recommendation all matters of administrative policy concerning the curriculum; considers for recommendation proposals for new courses and programs; recommends action on all deletions, classifications and changes in courses and programs.

The Educational Policy Committee considers for recommendation all matters of educational policy including academic standards, probation, disqualification, readmissions policies, grading procedures, matriculation, student behavior, and student grievance procedures; considers for recommendation all matters of administrative policy concerning educational policy, including policies of the Office of Instruction and the Office of Student Services.

Students are encouraged to start new clubs and organizations to suit their interests. A wide variety of leadership and volunteer opportunities are available within campus clubs and organizations. This a great way to enhance students' experience at Skyline College. These groups focus on a wide variety of student interests such as career options, academics, cultural support, social events and interest, political service and religion.
