Late arrivals: Since we are testing on 2-hours per session, you must be present at the scheduled appointment time.  There is NO GRACE PERIOD. If you are late, your seat will be given to the next student on the drop-in list. You may place yourself on the drop-in list for the next available testing session. You are welcome to check-in up to 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to ensure non-forfeiture. 

How to Schedule An Appointment

    1. Log into WebSMART
    2. Click Schedule Appointments under Student Services
    3. Click Skyline College- Placement Test Appointment
    4. Click Make Appointment
    5. Choose desired test, click Continue
    6. Select the Day and Time that fits your schedule, click Find Appointment
    7. Confirm/ input your information, click Continue
    8. Your testing appointment information will then be displayed
    9. Exit webpage and log out of your Websmart account

Drop-in/ Walk-ins

We accept students who do not have appointment on a first-come-first-serve basis depending if there is space available during our testing sessions. There is no guarantee of space for drop-in students.  

All you need is your student ID number (G Number) and a valid photo identification prior to taking any placement test.

What to Bring:

  1. Photo Identification
  2. Your Student Identification (G Number)
  3. Enrollment Ticket – for New Students- if applicable (By Admissions & Records Office)

What/ Who NOT to Bring:

  1. Electronic devices are prohibited (cellular phones must be turned off completely)
  2. Food & Beverages
  3. Children- children of any age cannot be left unattended at all times.  Please arrange childcare needs prior to testing.

Test Duration Guide

  • Math Test: approximately one (1) hour
  • English or ESOL test: approximately one hour and thirty minutes (1.5 hour)
