Skyline College Library accepts library cards from any library in the Peninsula Library System (PLS). To get a Library Card, please ask at the Circulation Desk (650-738-4311). If you would like, you can fill out and print this application form and bring it to the Circulation Desk. If you have a picture ID with your current address, please bring it with you. If not, we will help you verify your address using WebSMART.
To replace library cards, please ask at the Circulation Desk – they’re free!
Live outside of San Mateo County? Please ask at the Circulation Desk for a library card.
Students enrolled in distance education courses at Skyline College who do not have a PLS library card and are unable to come to a library to get a card should complete the Distance Education Online Library Access Application Form to apply for a library barcode number. After we verify that you are a student enrolled exclusively in distance courses, we will e-mail or send you a library barcode number that will enable you to remotely access Skyline College Library's online research databases for up to one semester.
Please note that you will not be able to check out physical library books or other physical materials with this number. To borrow books and other library materials you must obtain a library card, which requires that you come into Skyline College Library or any other PLS Library and present a photo ID and proof of your current mailing address
