Kappa Beta Delta
Alpha Beta Chi is the Skyline College chapter of Kappa Beta Delta, the international Honor Society for two-year Business Programs accredited by the Accreditation Council of Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). The purpose of Kappa Beta Delta is to encourage and recognize scholarship and accomplishment among students pursuing business degrees. To encourage and promote personal and professional improvement and a life distinguished by honorable service to humankind.
Kappa Beta Delta is working with One Brick Volunteer Service, which provides students a great way for people to try a variety of volunteer experiences. Perhaps most importantly, it gives students a chance to bolster their resume with personnel and project management. One Brick also needs volunteers to help with things like marketing, human resources, graphic design and newsletter writing. OneBrick offers great letters of recommendation and will sign community service forms as well. Visit the San Francisco One Brick event calendar or the Silicon Valley One Brick event calendar for specific event information.
Good luck to all KBD Scholarship applicants! In addition to the regional scholarship, there is an opportunity to receive a $500 Skyline KBD Scholarship! Learn more about the KBD Scholarship for details.
