Funding options generally include federal and state agencies, private national and California-based foundations, local foundations, corporate charitable funds.
The larger foundations, and federal and state agencies, offer substantial grants and are more likely to fund multiple years. They typically have complicated application procedures and stringent reporting requirements. Smaller foundations and corporate charitable funds often allocate funding one year at a time, and have simpler application procedures and reporting requirements.
