EDGAR Archives (SEC): Full-text searchable index to the filings by corporations to the Securities and Exchange Commission that are available to the public (including 10-K reports). Non-electronic filings, filings that are not available to the public, and any data prior to 1994 will not be available here. EDGAR - Electronic Data Gathering Analysis And Retrieval.
EDGAR Online: Said by Business Week to be the best interface to the SEC filings. CorporateInformation: Excellent place to start for locating information on public or private companies around the world. Arranged by country, this is a resource list of sites. Data can include links to market research reports, laws, court decisions, the CIA World FactBook, currency rates, and population. A particularly helpful item is a list of abbreviations used in corporate names, e.g. LLP, AG, GmbH. An excellent source of hard to find corporate resources on countries.
CorpWatch: Holding Corporations Accountable: "Provides news, analysis, research tools and action alerts to respond to corporate activity around the globe," as well as a guide to researching companies.

The Internet Intelligence Index: A directory of business and industry resources "designed to help you gather information from a variety of public services. ... It contains links to over 600 intelligence-related Internet sites, covering everything from macro-economic data to individual patent and stock quote information."
