Kappa Beta Delta

Alpha Beta Chi is the Skyline College chapter of Kappa Beta Delta, the international Honor Society for two-year Business Programs accredited by the Accreditation Council of Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). The purpose of Kappa Beta Delta is to encourage and recognize scholarship and accomplishment among students pursuing business degrees. To encourage and promote personal and professional improvement and a life distinguished by honorable service to humankind.


Welcoming New Members

Kappa Beta Delta welcomed 19 new members on Thursday, March 3rd, 2016 at our Induction Ceremony. These new members have shown outstanding academic excellence and we are proud to welcome them into KBD. Visit the leadership webpage to check out our new members. Kappa Beta Delta offers multiple regional and national scholarships each year. Applications for 2016-2017 closed in March and the recipients have been awarded. This year Skyline College had two recipients. Donway Sy received the 2016 Dr. Andrew V. Stevenson Merit Scholarship and Margo Feldman received the 2016 Alpha Beta Chi Merit Scholarship as well as an ACBSP Student Leadership Award. Past Events:

2nd Harvest Food Drive
  • November 30 - December 11, 2015
  • KBD raised $1,000 and 234lbs of food during our winter drive last semester for the Second Harvest Food Bank, serving the Santa Clara and San Mateo county areas.
  • Kappa Beta Delta was awarded the Blue Diamond Award, the highest possible achievement, for their outstanding efforts and for the contributions of everyone at Skyline College who participated. We thank everyone for their help.

  • Hosted by the Skyline Stock Exchange Club and co-sponsored by Kappa Beta Delta. Alexandra Kaplan, Skyline College counselor, presented tips for career success including interview and resume tips.
