Welcome to our virtual Priority Enrollment Program! We look forward to supporting new students complete the necessary enrollment steps to begin taking classes at Skyline College. Through this program, students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of workshops; from application assistance to registering for classes. It's also a chance to meet and engage with current students and staff and learn more about our student support programs and campus resources. Our goal is to minimize any educational disruptions and we're committed to helping students with getting started at Skyline College. New Student Orientation

Orientation is your chance to get to know Skyline College and to learn about the information, resources and tools you’ll need to be successful. Orientation is an important resource for new students and all new students are required to complete orientation before scheduling an appointment to meet with an academic counselor and registering for classes.

Counseling Appointments

Similar to an in-person counseling appointment, students can connect with an academic counselor via Zoom or over the phone for major/career exploration, student education planning, transfer planning and more!

Promise Scholars Program

The Promise Scholars Program provides students counseling, academic and financial support for up to three years. The program provides transportation incentives, academic and career support services. The program is open to first-time college students who can commit to attending Skyline College full-time (12 units minimum per semester, 15 units highly encouraged – for the full duration of their academic journey at Skyline College.) Learning Communities

Interested in learning more about our Learning Communities? Join us and hear about the nine Learning Communities at Skyline College. Learning Communities are designed to help students complete necessary general education and courses required for transfer. As part of a cohort, students will engage with other students who share the same passions, interests, or specific fields of study and work closely with faculty and counselors who are invested in student success.

ESL Connect

The English as Second Language (ESL) Connect helps non-native English speakers apply to Skyline College and make use of the resources at Skyline College so that students can achieve their educational goals. Educational Access Center (EAC)

TRiO Student Support Services (SSS) has a long and successful history of accelerating students’ graduation and/or transfer by providing academic support and comprehensive service. TRiO services include providing students with their own dedicated counselor, priority registration, scholarships, individual and small group tutoring, academic planning, financial literacy, assistance in completing financial aid and scholarship applications, transfer planning, visits to four-year colleges and universities and more. TRiO also sponsors a Professional Development and Leadership Program to enhance students’ skills, provide opportunities for students to assist other TRiO students and the program, apply the knowledge they learn, and build their resumes. Students are also active in the TRiO Student Club and the TRiO Honor Society, building their leadership skills and planning programs of their personal and professional interests. To qualify for TRiO, students must meet at least one of the following eligibility criteria; be first generation, low-income, and/or have a documented learning difference/disability or physical disability.
