The Skyline College Promise Scholarship is given each semester to exceptional full-time students who are new to Skyline College and indicate an educational goal of certificate or degree completion. The Scholarship aims to support the College's promise to help students "Get in. Get through. And Get out...on Time!" by making college more affordable for under-resourced students, helping to ensure that higher education is an achievable reality for all members of our community.

Recipients of the Promise Scholarship must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a recent high school graduate, or completed their GED, or completed their adult education
  • Be enrolled at Skyline College for the first time
  • Be enrolled full-time (12 or more units)
  • Apply for financial aid
  • Meet student expectations (including counselor visits and financial coaching)
