![]() Major: Nursing About MeI was born and raised in the Bay Area and have had a lifelong goal of becoming a nurse. I attended Northern Arizona University (NAU) where I completed a Bachelors of Biology and Psychology and where I was introduced to peer mentoring both as a mentee and mentor. This has become a passion of mine and I am excited to join the ranks at Skyline. I began my education at Skyline in 2019 as a way to supplement my education at NAU and to help me pursue an MSN degree. When I started at Skyline College, I wish I had known:The importance of self accountability, goal setting, and the numerous communities and resources available to students. The importance of your peers. Peers are an amazing resource who can help you, lift you up, guide you, and can become lifelong friends. Lastly, the immense support of faculty and staff across campus both inside and outside of classroom settings. 3 words to describe me:
My Strengths:
What I enjoy outside of academics:I am a person who loves the outdoors: hiking, camping, climbing, or just sitting outside with nature. But when I am not outdoors I love crafts (I started cross stitching this past year), books, and exploring nooks across the Bay. Programs I'm involved in:Last semester was my first on campus and I am still finding my place, but I found that I love the STEM and MESA centers. Languages
