Both the Guardian Scholars program and NextUP program have a few required actions for our participants.

These requirements will help guide and assist you during your time at Skyline College and beyond.

  • 1 Orientation. Orientations are held every fall & spring.
  • 2 appointments with the Guardian Scholars or NextUP Retention Specialist
  • 1-2 appointments with Sparkpoint Financial Coaching
  • 1 event and/or workshop sponsored or hosted by Guardian Scholars or NextUP respectively
  • 1 Mid-semester Progress Report
  • 1 Comprehensive Educational Plan
