Adding Images
How do I add/replace an image on my webpage?
In order to add or replace images on your webpage, you’ll need to upload & publish the image first.
Please avoid embedding flyers.
- Images with text have accessibility issues and are hard to read on phones
- Instead, you can clip images and type out text from the flyer to use on your webpage
Please downsize your file before uploading.
- Large images are bad for the website's loading speed and overall utility
- TinyJPG is a great tool to lower file sizes without losing any quality
Basic Overview
- Shrink your image with TinyJPG
- Navigate to the “images” folder inside your program’s website folder
- Press the upload button in the top right corner, or drag and drop the photo in
- Publish the photo
- Navigate back to your page to insert it in the right spot. Don’t forget to set the
image details appropriately
- Set the image width in %. Delete the value for height. Always use descriptive alt text
