Way2Go Free SamTrans Bus Pass
In partnership with SamTrans, San Mateo County Community College District is providing FREE Way2Go unlimited bus passes to SMCCCD students.
Complete the application to request a Way2Go free bus pass. After completing the application, watch for a follow-up email with additional information to complete the process.
Additional details:
- Distributed on a first-come, first-served basis
- Required enrollment in at least 1 unit at Cañada College, College of San Mateo, or Skyline College
- Can be linked to your existing Clipper Card
- Unlimited SamTrans rides
- Valid through July 31, 2025
Highway 101 Community Transportation Benefits Program
To qualify for a FREE $200 Clipper Card or FasTrak Transponder, you must meet the following criteria:
- Resident of San Mateo County, and
- Age 18 or older, and
- Earning an individual income at or below 60% of San Mateo County's Area Median Income (AMI). Please see here for income amounts by family size.
- Have not received this benefit in the previous 12 months (please note that if you applied for, or received, the Way2Go bus pass, you are still eligible to apply for this benefit).

- Cañada College on Wednesday, April 16 from 11am - 1pm (where?)
- Skyline College on Tuesday, April 22 from 11am - 1pm at Fireside Dining Room, Building 6
