Who is eligible?

We encourage you to join Puente if you are interested in Latinx culture and identity!

Puente is open to all students who are:

  • Able to commit to the Puente English and Counseling courses
  • Open to learning about four-year transfer
  • Interested in learning about Latinx literature identity, culture, experiences 
  • Are able to attend out of class Puente events & trips such as Noche de Familia, Transfer Motivational Conference (all-day Saturday), college tours, campus and local cultural events, etc.
  • Are open to participating in the year-long Puente
    mentorship program

How to Join

Joining Puente is on a first-come, first-serve basis and requires enrollment into specific English and Counseling sections.

  1. Please start by filling out our intake form.
  2. You will gain access to enroll in the dedicated Puente courses and receive a follow-up email.
