Photography & Drone Policies
Photo Release
Skyline College, a non-profit California Community College, reserves the right to take and use photographs, video and electronic images of students and visitors taken on college property and at college-sponsored events for marketing and promotional purposes.
However, it is recommended that all individuals who will be recognizable in still photos or video footage used for marketing purposes (i.e. posted on websites, flyers, promotional video, etc.), as well as all individuals under the age of 18, fill out a photo release form and keep it on file in the MCPR office.
Drone Policy
Board Policy 8.49 on the Use of Unmanned Aerial Systems on District Property states that the use of drones for hobby, recreational, commercial or business use on District property is prohibited except for District educational, research or uses authorized by the District.
