The Skyline College Collaborative Innovation Center (CIC) is a Strategic Partnership between Business and Biotechnology academic programs at Skyline College and the Japanese Bioengineering Company Furukawa Electronic Inc.

This collaboration allows students to engage in experiential learning by understanding the product that our partner, Single Cell Hunter (SCH), feature. Our Business students will have the ability to apply their sales and marketing skills to secure potential partners whose core businesses are in cell analysis, drug screening, etc., from the San Francisco Bay area. Our Biotechnology students will be able to work on the project secured by the business students through scientific research using cutting-edge technology that our partners SCH provide.

What do we do?

Our work is focused on building a bridge between students in their field of study and relevant industry partners. Students will get a unique opportunity to connect closely with our partner companies.
