The EDU/CD Teacher Track Learning Community is a cohort group that prepares students to become future teachers by pairing foundational Early Childhood courses with hands-on intern experience at the Child Development Lab Center on campus.

Students who commit to the prescribed seven (7) units and intern at the lab school [six hours a week] during both the fall & spring terms, will be eligible to apply for the CA Associate Teacher Permit, through the California Commission for Teacher Credentialing.  This permit allows teachers to begin work in Early Childhood Programs throughout the state.
