Skyline College Women’s Basketball battled Wednesday night to defeat San Jose City College and move into second place in the Coast Conference.  The Trojans played from behind for most of the first half before a Victoria Langi put-back tied the game at 29.  The Trojans took charge early in the third quarter on back-to-back three pointers by Alyssa Dela Cruz.  Skyline College stretched their lead to 13 before San Jose forced some turnovers to make a run of their own.  Clutch rebounding and scoring from Charme Noordzee and Stephanie Allen as well as good free throw shooting down the stretch by Dana Michaels and Arianna Sheehy clinched a 64-51 victory.  Stephanie Allen led all scorers with 23 points and all rebounders with 14.  Skyline College travels to Chabot Friday for a 5pm game.
