UlloaJohn Ulloa of the Social Science/Creative Arts Division has been appointed to a full-time position in the History department as of this spring semester. He is also the Honors Transfer Program coordinator. John has a wealth of knowledge, experience and enthusiasm that we are very happy to make exclusively ours.

John has a B.A in History, a M.A. in History and an M.A. in Anthropology, all from San Francisco State University. He has taught at Skyline College in both the History and Anthropology departments since 2005. He has been the Honors Transfer Program Coordinator since fall 2013. John is also an Afro-Cuban percussionist of note, with a CD out entitled Rum and Smoke.

John is a community college success story, having started his higher education at Modesto Junior College, where he received an A.A. degree before transferring to San Francisco State. He is a mentor and a model for our students. We are very pleased to have him in this expanded role.
