Team Member Biographies

Stephanie Allen

Stephanie AllenStephanie will begin her first season playing at Skyline College after gray-shirting last season due to injury. Stephanie graduated from Palo Alto High School where she played four years of varsity basketball. Skyline expects Stephanie to be in the mix of guards used to increase the tempo of the game and provide perimeter scoring. Stephanie’s hobbies include singing and reading.(top)

Kimberly Arciaga

Kimberly ArciagaKim joins the Skyline College basketball program this season after taking time off since graduating from Mills High School. While at Mills, Kim was a team captain and selected to the hall of fame as a senior. She also received the Girls Graduate of the Year Leadership Scholarship. Kim is expected to add depth and scoring to the guard position. Her hobbies include going to Disneyland, exercising, and hanging out with her brothers.(top)

Marielle Beltran

Marielle BeltranMarielle is set to begin her second year playing basketball at Skyline College. Marielle split time last year between Skyline’s volleyball team and basketball team. She made contributions off the bench while appearing in 13 games. Marielle is expected to add depth to the frontcourt with the versatility that allows her to play both post positions. In her free time, Marielle enjoys hanging out at home and work.(top)

Sahara Clay

Sahara ClaySahara returns for her second season at Skyline College looking to build on a promising freshman campaign. As a freshman, Sahara appeared in 24 games and started 20. She was selected First Team All Coast Conference North in her freshman year. While playing at Oceana High School in Pacifica, Sahara also received the Most Improved Award, team MVP award, and First Team All League in the Peninsula Athletic League. Sahara enjoys volleyball and shopping in her free time.(top)

Alyssa Dela Cruz

Alyssa Dela CruzAlyssa begins her freshman year at Skyline after attending Burton High School in San Francisco. While at Burton, Alyssa was named team captain and earned Team Most Valuable Player. She also earned the Student Athlete Award and was named All League in the Academic Athletic Association. Alyssa’s ability to play all three guard positions will help Skyline shuf>le player combinations. When Alyssa isn’t studying, she enjoys hanging out with friends and tutoring teammates during study hall.(top)

Emma Fox

Emma FoxEmma enters her freshman year at Skyline College after graduating from Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory in San Francisco. Emma comes from a strong program and is expected to bring a solid work ethic and desire to win to Skyline. She will add depth to the frontcourt and will allow Skyline to play with two posts regularly. In her free time, Emma enjoys hanging out with family and friends.(top)

Aria Gallardo

Aria GallardoAria begins her first year at Skyline College after a successful career at San Francisco Waldorf. While at SF Waldorf, Aria earned First Team All League four consecutive years. In her senior year, Aria helped SF Waldorf to a second place finish in the Bay Counties Central Conference. When Aria is not playing basketball, she enjoys sleeping and watching TV.(top)

Monique Garrett

Monique GarrettMonique enters her second season at Skyline College after playing a key role for Skyline down the stretch last season. Monique added quality minutes to Skyline last year playing mostly off the bench. Along with some clutch shooting, Monique added leadership and maturity to last year’s squad. Monique looks to pick up in her sophomore season where she left off last year. Monique enjoys working with kids when she isn’t playing basketball.(top)

Zina Kelati

Zina KelatiZina enters her first season at Skyline College after an impressive senior year at Waldorf High School in San Francisco. As a senior, Zina was named team co-MVP and First Team All League while leading SF Waldorf to a 16 win season. Zina is expected to provide post depth to a strong frontcourt this season. Zina’s hobbies include playing volleyball, singing, and watching Net>lix. (top)

Tianna Mitchell

Tianna MitchellTianna will begin her first season at Skyline College, but her second season of college basketball. Tianna graduated from Mission High School in San Francisco where she earned the awards for the Team’s Most Improved Player and the Team’s Most Valuable Player. Tianna player her freshman season at Foothill College before transferring to Skyline. Tianna is expected to play major minutes in Skyline’s frontcourt this season. When Tianna isn’t playing basketball, she enjoys playing volleyball.(top)

Jessica Pineda

Jessica PinedaJessica enters her freshman season at Skyline College after a successful senior season at Oceana High School in Pacifica. As a senior, Jessica was named First Team All League in the Peninsula Athletic League and Team Most Valuable Player. She also led the Peninsula Athletic League in three pointers made. Academically, Jessica was named to the Principal’s Honor List. Jessica enjoys spending time with friends when she’s not playing basketball. (top)

Jazel Talauta

Jazel TalautaJazel begins her sophomore year looking to build on a good freshman season. Jazel returned from injury to lead the Trojans in scoring and assists last season. Skyline will rely on Jazel to handle the ball and provide leadership for a young team. Jazel intends to continue her basketball career at a four- year university after this season. When she isn’t playing basketball, Jazel enjoys spending time with her family and friends. (top)

Chole Tinio

Chole TinioChloe begins her second season at Skyline College after a productive freshman year. As a freshman, Chloe appeared off the bench for Skyline as she returned to basketball after a few years away from the game. The Trojans will look to Chloe to be a major part of the rotations lending her leadership, maturity and experience to a very young team. Chloe enjoys playing tennis when she isn’t playing basketball.(top)

Sabrina TriunfanteSabrina starts her first year at Skyline College after playing three years of varsity basketball at Mercy High School in San Francisco. Sabrina is a hard worker who is expected to provide some vocal leadership this season. She will also add depth and outside shooting to the backcourt. Sabrina’s hobbies include reading and hanging out with friends.(top)
