MUS. 667SM AA is designed to prepare students to perform in a musical theater production conducted on campus. Activities include developing a well-supported and well-placed singing tone, issues of song interpretation and styling, and the basics of English diction. Through regular rehearsal and preparation, students will strengthen their singing voices and increase their sensitivity to vocal phrasing. In addition, we will also cover the basics of acting technique and stage direction. Students will be expected to learn, memorize, and execute their assigned musical parts in a public performance of a spring musical.

DANC 665SJ is designed to prepare students to perform in a musical theater production conducted on campus. Activities include learningjazz technique and choreography that will be utilized in performance. All levels of dance skill are welcome. Students will be expected to learn, memorize, and execute their assigned dance/movement parts in a public performance of a spring musical.
