On Saturday, January 11th Skyline College hosted more than 175 students and family members from around Northern California as they prepared to study abroad in Florence, Italy for the Spring Semester. The group, which included students from Skyline College, CSM and Cañada as well as the Los Rios District, Diablo Valley, and Santa Rosa JC provided an orientation to the Florence Program and a chance to meet faculty and colleagues. The group is now in Florence enjoying their first week of classes and field trips.
The Florence Study Abroad Program is one of many opportunities that Skyline College students have to study abroad. Upcoming programs include Paris, France during Fall Semester 2014 and Florence again in Spring 2015.
