Bay Area Entrepreneur Center Now OpenThu, 3 July, 2014 at 3:58 pm
New resource center offers support to Bay Area entrepreneurs to grow their current business or business idea.
Located in the heart of downtown San Bruno’s commercial business district at 458 San Mateo Avenue, the newly opened Bay Area Entrepreneur Center(BAEC) will provide office space, classes, workshops, one-on-one technical assistance and other support services to community entrepreneurs. The Center is an innovative business incubator and resource center spearheaded and sponsored by Skyline College.
“The Bay Area Entrepreneur Center will be a business catalyst to seed and develop entrepreneurship in our region. Leading creative economic development partnerships such as this are exactly what the college is designed and committed to do,” said Regina Stanback Stroud, President of Skyline College. “It is just another way for the college to invest in the community and identify and engage the businesses and workforce of tomorrow.”
BAEC is equipped to host approximately eight to ten new or expanding businesses. The center will partner with local companies, venture capitalists and regional organizations to provide hands-on training and practical real world perspectives to guide business formation and growth.
In addition, BAEC will offer regular seminars and for-credit classes offered through Skyline College and taught by local business leaders at the BAEC facility.
