Overview

The Office of Marketing, Communications and Public Relations (MCPR) is dedicated to developing and delivering effective communications both internally and externally by highlighting the accomplishments of the College, its faculty, staff and students. The department assists in driving the enrollment of the college and in helping students to access resources which ensure success in their educational career.

The department designs, produces and delivers communications about the college's high-quality and innovative programs to current and prospective students, mass media, and the community. The department provides resources and support to Skyline College staff, faculty and students for publications, publicity, and the development of promotional materials.

The MCPR team collaborates with college departments to plan, develop and execute high quality campus events designed to provide students with supplemental learning opportunities which are open to the community and give voice to the student. The need for high quality marketing materials and a cohesive marketing and advertising strategy has grown along with the size of the college with an annual enrollment of over 17,000 students.

The department serves as the liaison to the wider community to enhance the many connections and solidify Skyline College’s position as a leading academic institution in the bay area.
