Skyline Scholarships
By filling out a single application, Skyline students are able to apply for more than 50 scholarships. To apply, students must have completed 12 Skyline College units, be currently enrolled, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0.

FinAid: The SmartStudent Guide to Financial Aid
Advice on and links to sources of information about student financial aid. Covers topics such as loans, scholarships, military aid, federal and state aid, fellowships, grants, prepaid tuition plans, study abroad, financial aid consultants, and scholarship search services. Offers financial aid resources for specific student populations (for example, international, disabled, female, minority, gay and lesbian) and programs of study (such as law school and medical school).

College Board Scholarship Search
By answering an online questionnaire, the College Board Scholarship Search tool will through 2,300 sources of college funding to find scholarships, internships, grants, and loans that match the information provided. The website also offers general information on applying and paying for college, college board tests, and provides other online tools.

FastWeb: Free Scholarship and College Searches, & Financial Aid Tools
The heart of this site is the scholarship search engine that lets Internet users search, without cost, a database of hundreds of thousands of U.S. scholarships, fellowships, internships, grants, and loans. Free registration allows you to set up a profile and mailbox that will automatically send you the latest scholarship information to fit your profile.

Wiredscholar: Paying for College
Information about paying for a college education, with an emphasis on financing and financial aid. Free registration allows students to access information relating to more than two million scholarships, and an "Award Analyzer." Some material is fee-based. Information available in English and Spanish.

EduPrep Scholarship Search
According to the website, EduPrep has a searchable database containing 2.5 million awards. Although users have to register before being allowed to search, registration is free and the information is kept private.

California Community College Transfer Entitlement Cal Grant
Money from Cal Grants are funded by the state and do not have to be paid back. Although most Cal Grants are awarded University students, the Community College Transfer Grant is awarded to community college students to attend a four-year college. Students must have at least a 2.4 community college GPA and meet the Cal Grant eligibility and financial requirements. For application information, contact the Skyline financial aid office.

Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship Program
For students transferring to a four-year college or university, the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation scholarship will help pay for tuition, room and board, books, and other required fees. Eligible candidates must be nominated by their community college institution. For more information on eligibility requirements, Skyline students should contact Biology Professor Dr. Christine Case.

MESA Program Scholarships
The Mathematics, Engineering, and Science Achievement Program at Skyline College offers a list of scholarships available for students studying in math-based fields. Skyline specific scholarships are offered in addition to many offered by outside organizations.

Hispanic Scholarship Fund
The Hispanic Scholarship Fund supports its mission to double the rate of Hispanics earning a college degree by providing more scholarship opportunities than any other organization in the country. Applicants must be enrolled part-time or full-time at a community college with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and have plans to transfer and enroll full-time in a degree-seeking program at a four-year institution.

Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute
The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute has compiled a list of National and Regional scholarship opportunities for Latino students. The application process and eligibility requirements for these scholarships vary. Latino students at Skyline College are highly encouraged to browse through these lists.
