The transition from high school to college can be difficult and confusing. The Priority Enrollment Program (PEP) at Skyline College makes it easy for graduating high school seniors planning to enroll at Skyline College. PEP happens in the spring, Please check back for dates in January.
What is PEP?
PEP is a program that gives graduating seniors priority registration at Skyline College for summer and fall terms. Students participating PEP can complete their enrollment steps, become familiar with Skyline's programs and services and select their courses, all before finishing their senior year in high school!

1. What do I bring to PEP?
Your social security number or your student ID number (a student identification is issued when an Admissions Application has been processed)

2. Will I be able to register in college courses before finishing high school?
YES. Students participating in PEP will get a priority registration date in early May. They will be allowed to register for both summer and fall classes before they graduate from high school.
3. How do I sign up for PEP?
PEP registration is easy. Fill out the PEP sign up form on the side bar and an email with further instructions will follow.
4. Do I need to complete a Skyline College application prior to the PEP date?
YES, students must complete an online application prior to attending PEP?
5. Is there a limit on the number of students that can sign up for a PEP date?
YES. PEP has a capacity of 140 students. Sign up now for your preferred date.
6. Where do I go on my PEP date?
Signs will be posted around campus guiding you to Building 2, One-Stop Student Services Center Information Desk.
7. Where do I park and will I need a parking permit to park on campus?
Participants may park in any student lot during all PEP dates. Citations will be given to vehicles parked in staff lots, visitor parking, or any car illegally parked in a disabled parking spot.
8. What if I can't attend PEP?
Students can individually complete the admission procedures for new students prior to the start of the semester. Students completing all admission requirements will be assigned a registration date after turning in an enrollment ticket to the Office of Admissions and Records.
9. What if I arrive late to my PEP session?
Due to sensitive nature of testing, students arriving late will not be allowed to participate in the PEP session.
10. What if I have already taken one or both of my placement tests?
Students who have completed one or both placement tests should contact Nate Nevado (650) 738-4388 prior to the PEP dates.
11. What if I can only attend part of the PEP session?
Students attending only a portion of the PEP session, without making prior arrangements, will not be eligible to receive priority registration.
12. Will I receive my placement test score at the end of my PEP date?
YES, all students will receive a copy of their placement test results at the end of the PEP session.
13. When do I receive my counseling appointment?
You will receive a half-hour counseling date/time after you check in at the Information Center. Counseling appointments are not conducted on the same day and students will need to return for their appointment.
