Men's Soccer hires new Head Coach for 2016 season

Skyline College is please to announce that Gabe Saucedo has been hired as the Head Men's Soccer Coach for the 2016 season.

Coach Saucedo comes to Skyline after 11 years at City College of San Francisco, where he helped guide both the men's and women's soccer programs to multiple Coast Conference championships and state playoff appearances between 2005-2016.

Coach Saucedo becomes just the 5th head coach in Skyline College Men's Soccer 47 year history.

#18 Trojans top #15 American River College 79-58 in first round of CCCAA Playoffs. San Mateo Daily Journal Article Complete Nor Cal Playoff Bracket

Skyline women’s basketball defeated American River College Wednesday night in the first round of the Northern California playoffs.  Skyline fell behind early in the first quarter, but ended the quarter on an eight to zero run to take the lead at the end of the first quarter.  Skyline pushed the lead to five, 29-24 by the end of the first half.  At the start of the third quarter, Stephanie Allen made a three pointer and followed it up with a three point play started by a Victoria Langi steal to push the lead to 11. 

Second half scoring from sophomore Alyssa Dela Cruz and freshman Juliet Courtney helped Skyline’s lead grow to nearly twenty points before finishing off the game with a 78-59 victory.  Skyline will travel to Fresno City College Saturday for the second round of the playoffs.

Skyline defeats Cañada 76-65

The Trojans got its first conference victory last night over county-rival Cañada.  Soren Carpenter’s three-point play with 13:52 remaining in the first half gave Skyline the lead 11-8.  The Trojans never trailed again.Carpenter (Lowell HS) finished with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists.  Sophomores Tavita Jimenez (Serra HS) and Usman Hameed (Riordan HS) both tallied 16 points and combined for 16 rebounds.
